| Cheatham County recognizes that transportation of its students as an essential part of the public education system and requires the cooperation of many individuals.
It is the goal of Cheatham County Schools to provide eligible students the safest and most efficient transportation service. The Transportation Department is responsible for daily bus operations, dispatching buses, fleet maintenance, and safety. Thousands of children use the transportation services to and from school every day. The Transportation Department also assists in dealing with athletic trips, mid-day school programs, field trips and any special summer programs.
