The Cheatham County Special Education Department is dedicated to providing a wide variety of services as part of Cheatham County Schools’ “unified commitment to promote physical, emotional, and intellectual excellence.” Our goal, in keeping with IDEA and the Tennessee Department of Education, Division of Special Education, is to provide programs and services for children with special education needs that will enable them to lead productive and independent lives. We serve approximately 825 students from ages 3 to 21.
